Day 2 At Sea toward Cabo San Lucus

Today we spent the day at sea.  It was a rough and windy day, so rough in fact that the life boat drill was cancelled until better weather.  That seems somewhat misguided.  Isn’t there a better chance we would need a life boat when the weather is bad rather than good? Anyway, we may be in a pinch since our assigned life boat was smashed to pieces when the cable broke letting it down on the last voyage.  I guess we will be cozying up to our new best friends if misfortune strikes.

Tonight is a formal night in the dining room.  Suit and tie, you know.  Lots of pictures being taken by the on board photographers as couples parade by in their finest.  We will no doubt stand out.

We have found the Trivia activity and are doing our best with a myriad of subjects.  Wish Patrick was here to help.  It would be good practice for him.

The weather is not cooperating.  The high today was 58 degrees and tomorrow is not forecasted to be much warmer.  Sorry for those suffering through the ice and snow, but we should be having warmer weather.

I have included some pictures.  One shows the heated beds in the Spa which Chris discovered.  The next is the mobile hanging in our room which contains pictures of the family.  Finally, a picture from the harbor in San Diego.
